In 2023, the LEC Finals took over Montpellier, France. Drawing gaming fans from around the world, the tournament saw over 600,000 people watching the grand final.

With Riot’s ambitions in mind, the brand envisions the event as an extra-dimensional festival – a full-on convergence of realities. A place where classic clashes with avant-garde. Where future rivalries are forged. Where minimalism collides with maximalism. Where the energy of the LEC breaks through time and space, turning elements from both Montpellier and the LoL universe into stone.

Wellington City needed a clever solution to its high rate of pedestrian-related accidents.Get There Safely was a large-scale OOH, street activation and social media campaign. The project aimed to attract public attention, generate curiosity and ultimately alter behavioural patterns.

The look and feel goes beyond a safety message, playing with the concept of obscurity, intrigue and education. Through activations, four characters frequently walked the streets and audiences were brought into the playful concept to show best pedestrian practice.

Working with the City Archives team, this project celebrated the 50th anniversary of Cuba Mall (an infamous high street in the capital of New Zealand).

The design drew inspiration from the archive and local graphic design of the 1970s. The flags covered Wellington’s infamous Cuba Street, alongside public displays of photographs from Cuba Street’s past.
